Could be something caught in the wash motor impellor , giving poor circulating pressure . This would also stop the appliance from heating which would cause it to run continuouisly ???

A faulty / open circuit heater is NOT the most common cause of no heating…..low water levels are . Check the pressure chamber/fill hose first .

Re: Bosch Engineer Says Faulty But Is it?

Its not a delay setting as such . IIRC , its a ‘FINISH IN’ time so setting it for 3 hours means thats when it will END not START !

i.e If a programme selcted is an hour long and you selct 3 hours to finish , the actual cycle will start in 2 hrs . i.e 2 hour delay + the 1 hr cycle time = 3 hours !!!

Had this problem with a customer until i read the instructions properly myself !!

In short , you’re setting the FINISH time not the START

E17 is an EEPROM fault – relay board defective – replace relay board.

No idea why it would do it when hob switched on ??? Maybe try the oven out of its housing and away from the hob to see if its still affected ?

Re: Brand new Bosch WAS28461GB/7 soap draw leak (condensatio

Are you using powder , liquid or tablets ? I have had a couple of instances recently where a customer has used a tablet that has slipped out of the drawer without fully dissolving and got trapped in the top of the fill hose , thus causing the water to overflow from the drawer front . I’ve also just had a customer put in a calgon tablet….without removing the wrapper !!! Have you removed the detergent drawer completely and checked the top of the fill hose for a blockage ? You can see the hose in the front left corner in the drawer area .

You may have to programme the PCB with the facia panel off ! To code the module , you’ll need to holddown the 4 buttons starting from the right whilst then switching the appliance on. On some models , the far right button isn’t used on the panel so you can’t hold it down when coding. The only way is to do it with the facia panel left off.

    Re: siemens SE25A831GB/17 no heat

Could be the motors not firing up or is seizing up ? Could also be the reason for no heat I.e no water flow = no pressure = no heat . Normally , the circ motor will kick in before the machine is full .

Re: Bosch upright freezer GSN32A20GB alarm on

You’ll prob find the evaporator iced over (behind the grill at the top of the freezer compartment ) shine a torch through it and if its all snowed up behind it , it may just need a 48hr defrost . The frozen evaporator will also mean the sensor is frozen and will give odd readings , hence the alarm going off………

If its 424099 , then there is only one and yes , your description of the fault is a classic impellor jug failure .

As long as you’ve followed the instructions in the packet and fitted the correct washers for the tub , then it’ll be ok. I’ve fitted a good few sets and not had any returns .

Re: Bosch WVD24520GB Washer Dryer get stuck with 1 minute le

Most likely to be the heating element gone open circuit . The appliance is waiting for the water to heater but never does. If you leave it , it normally moves on after approx 2 hour. You will need to check the resisitance of the heater which should be approx 24 – 27 ohms .

It might be working fine . On circotherm grilling , the fan doesn’t run continuously . it will only start once the grill has reached temperature and will then alternate with the grill . I.e grill heating = fan off . grill switches off = fan on . you may just need to observe it for a while longer .
