Re: indesit evolution we16 error code -h20

You’ve somehow flooded the water level system to show that error (H20 = chemical formula for water)….Are you sure you put the ball-valve back correctly??

If you hear your own voice coming back at you it is due to the person on the other end not using a headset mic system. In which case just ask them to turn their speakers off (or down maybe) 😉

Skype is far better than MSN for multi-conferencing and the lack of flippin’ adverts and stuff MSN inundate you with ❗

The part number of the correct module is stamped on the module (and begins with 546??????)

The motor is the fault and not the module in my experience with these 😉

    No!

Access to the pump requires removal of its right hand side panel whilst in an upright position all the while.

:plug: PULL THE PLUG BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY INSPECTION :zap:

I would however recommend calling in a local independent expert to do the job for you, try this link: Repairs@

Alex’s Cornish Pastie trick is brilliant (must try that) but around here all the Esso Service Stations are being demolished and rebuilt completely to incorporate roadside diners they call ‘On the Run’ and the hot food and drink they serve there are excellent (including Cornish Pasties 🙂 )

Stikes me the hose that connects to the Pressure switch is punctured and leaking air (rubbing against drum or cabinet causes this 😉

But since you have messed around with the adjusting screws will mean not only a new hose is required, but a new Pressure Switch too 🙄

The alternatives therefore may involve you considering repositioning the appliances in your utility room to accomodate this, including turning them through 90 degrees to avoid the door being inconveniently placed 💡

You spot on there Sean and you volunteering a Bosch machine is very generous indeed and I applaud the sentiment. However I don’t think we need to diversify beyond what is already happening on the site in order to maintain its present following. The interest is there and you know full well with the future plans already in place that the interest in the site will grow even more in the coming weeks and months 😉

My comment about spammers was just by way of a reality check for you guys not to get too carried away with the ‘hits’ UKW is presently generating.

At the time I wrote to Indesit about UKW (the bastards never replied by the way) I asked Ken what he thought might be the total hits we could achieve in the future. Even then Ken predicted it would reach 5 million before the end of 2005 and he was not far short of that prediction and one that at the time I felt was very optomistic. But once again Ken was spot on (well almost as that total should happen by October – 2 months early).

So the old addage may well apply here at least “if it ain’t broke, don’t mend it!”. Just lets keep on pumping out the facts and pleasing the punters and the mountain will come to Mohammed I reckon. 🙂

Yes it would, the programme ‘times out’ and shows the Prewash light flashing and by stopping and effectively resetting the programme the pump then works………no mystery, just a clapped out pump as previously stated 8)
